Tadoba National Park - The Real Land of Tigers

Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve  is located in Chandpur district of Maharashtra state in India. It is Maharashtra's oldest and largest national park. Tadoba-andhari Tiger reserve was created in 1995. Birds in Tadoba National Park

There is an abundant variety of indian wildlife, including birds in Tadoba National Park. There are 280 bird species belonging to 63 families, out which 145 are resident, 35 are local migrants and 100 are migrant birds in Tadoba National Park. The diversity of habitat and abundance of water bodies make Tadoba one of the finest birding destinations in Maharashtra. The best period for birding is in winters whence migrants arrive. Rare black panther spotted in Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve

Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve ( Kolasa) : For the first time sighting of Black Panther , for Belgian couple when they visited to Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve, in the Shivanjhari area of Kolasa range on Tuesday,was a memorable one, as they saw a black panther, also known as the Ghost of the Forest because of its elusive nature. The image has sent frenzy amongst wildlife enthusiast. The Aernouts were out on their evening safari in Kolsa zone near Shivanjhari waterhole of the reserve and were eager to catch Shivanjhari Tigress. However, they spotted a leopard quenching its thirst and managed to photograph it. The couple was very excited and showed the photo.
